Co-NETIC® Technical Data

Co-NETIC® AA Perfection Annealed Sheet is used where high attenuation is desired. Available as fully annealed, ready for use in shielding applications, it is used for flat shields such as covers, panels, doors, plates, or walls and flat surfaces. Typically, no further annealing is required. In fact, we do not recommend re-anneal as this may cause structural degradation.

Highlights of Co-NETIC®

Chemical: ~80% Nickel, ~15% Iron, <5% Mo, Mn, Si
Maximum Permeability: 600,000

Co-NETIC® is well suited to applications where the goal is to achieve as low of a field as possible. It is the optimal alloy when trying to reach magnetic fields close to zero. It saturates in high intensity fields and can be used in combination with NETIC® to shield higher intensity fields.

Our stock Co-NETIC® is Stress Annealed (stress relieved) for ease of fabrication; and must be hydrogen annealed as a final process to maximize its shielding properties. Conforms to ASTM A753 Alloy 4 (UNS N14080), and MIL-N-14411 Comp 1.
